hello, completely confused here...

Hi, I installed Calibre and Lithium on my phone (a Google Pixel 4a), managed to convert a one page ODT doc to ePub, but now I can't see what to do next, can anyone help? I want to see my Calibre books on my phone but there's no clues anywhere as to how to proceed. The doc I converted went to a file in Windows but I cant find it. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to MobileRead!

You can't install Calibre on a phone. Do you mean you installed it on your computer? When you open Calibre, do you see any books in the list there?

Ah yes. I wasn't being clear. Calibre is on Windows, I have the Quick Guide in view plus my own that I wrote in Open Office as a test. I have been trying to work out how Lithium (which is on my phone) can communicate with my computer to read the bookshelf. There is a Settings page in Lithium but that gives no way to enter anything helpful, also there's a Connect/share dialog in Calibre also without clarity. Any clues would be most useful, thanks.

Sorry, I know nothing about Lithium. When I read on my phone, I use MoonReader. I just download a book from Dropbox and move it to the Books folder, where MoonReader can pick it up.

You'd best ask either in the Calibre subforum:

or in the Android Devices subforum:

Afraid I haven't got anywhere. It really can't be this difficult to get something working, I used to program mainframes in assembler for goodness sake. I'm trying the Calibre subforum you mention.
