Calibre Save to Disk Template Editor Question

Sorry for this newbie plea for help . . . but in all my many years of using our wonderful Calibre, I've never once employed the 'Save to Disk' function to export multiple books from Calibre. I've always just removed books one at a time and arranged the title as I wanted.

Now I want to export numerous books from Calibre to a specific folder in my hard drive, all in the format: Author's Name - Title of Book.

Do I change the Template Editor to do this? And what do I put in place instead of the default {author_sort}/{title}/{title} - {authors}? That's my question!

For example: The Purple Pony was written by John Smith. I want it exported to my hard drive folder as John Smith - The Purple Pony.

Thanks so much!

REMEMBER You can not affect how Calibre stores the Library copy

{authors} - {title}
for the actual file name (in the target folder)
You use the dialog that appears to navigate to Where to put that
did you know that you can create a NEW folder within that location IN THE dialog?
Yep! Right click in the window:New. You can even rename, then select as the target:OK
