Kobo Clara 2E: Oops! This document couldn't be opened bug
I'm using Kobo Clara 2E, I first used it with my Japanese account (Rakuten ID) and the free and paid books worked fine and then I switched to my UK account, downloaded a free audio book and free book and they are both working fine but when I bought a book, there's this pop up saying "Oops! This document couldn't be opened. There might be a problem with the file. Try syncing your eReader. If you still can't open it please contact Kobo Customer Care at help.kobo.com"
I went back to my Japanese account and I can no longer open the free and paid books. I tried factory reset, manual reset, remove download, remove from my Books, repair account, sync to PC, but still nothing worked. The only thing that's working is if I sideload the books. Are they possibly region locked? |

Well, I tried buying from my region and the same thing happened. I wonder if it's the problem with the kobo server or my device is faulty?

Remove the DRM and side load.
