Remove download restrictions
I have a PW4. I was wondering how I should go about removing the thing that stops you from downloading anything that is not a .azw, .prc, .mobi, or a .txt on the browser. Anyone got an idea?

I don't know how you can remove the restrictions in the experimental browser, but the PW4 has curl and wget available at the command line. Please note that the wget is built into BusyBox and thus may be customized, but curl is a stand alone.
I would imagine you can use one or both of the above to download whatever you need to. Dave |

Likely to be non-trivial, the file type check is implemented outside of the browser sandbox in Mesquite itself. You could probably patch out the check using something like Ghidra/IDA Pro?
