Stop Kobo from automatically downloading previews?
It's annoying when I'm pulling books off my Kobo device via OBOK and I see a bunch of books I don't remember buying, only to realize that they're previews of books related to ones I just bought or read.

Turn off WiFi, download ePub from Kobo, use Calibre to side load KePub.

I've run into that as well. I don't sync much, but I've found that if I go to my online account on the computer I can archive the previews and delete them from Archive section. Just archiving them should remove them from syncing, but I don't know if the sync deletes the ones already on your Kobo device or not.

I've never had this issue. I've even asked it to download previews and sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.

This sounds like a setting either on the kobo or in your account or something you are selecting and maybe not realizing what it does?
