Kobo Clara 2E Third Party Cases?

Is it weird that there still doesn't seem to be any third party covers for the Clara 2E? Or if they are out there, how am I missing them?

There were plenty of 3rd party covers available when I bought my Clara HDs in 2019. But of course the HD had been released a year earlier. So I don't know how long it will be before more covers are available for the 2E.

I do not like the origami type covers, as I do not need a stand. The way I hold the reader would probably result in the cover flopping around. So I went with the only other option and got the Kobo base cover. I figured this would be a temporary solution, but I'm surprised to find that I like this cover a lot. The blue color is very dark, almost black. The material feels good, although I don't know how well it will wear.

One oddity that will no doubt bother some folks is that the charge light is completely obscured by the cover, which covers the entire bezel. (Don't worry -- there is an access hole for the on/off switch on the back!

Based on my own past experience I think it's fairly normal to have to wait 2-3 months for 3rd-party cases to appear (at least in the UK). A drawback of not being the market leader.

Yes, my waiting time was about the same for a Libra 2 cover. We just have to give them enough time to get measurements and make the mold & all that.
