So sad. I'm an Eric Flint fan. I haven't read ALL of the Ring of Fire series, but I've read quite a few. He built an entire community complete with fan fiction. I wouldn't be too surprised if someone or some few decide to carry on.

Oh no, so sorry to learn of his passing and this as well. I too have many books from the 1632 series, many of which I have not yet read.
