Anyone have a installation file for v2.2 of the ebook library software ?

Hi everyone!

Wonder if anyone have an installation file for the Sony E-reader software v 2.2. lying around that I could get for installation. I have v2.5 installed on two computers, one Vista and one XP, but neither works correctly as described in another thread.

I have a version 2.0 on a third computer but that won't let me get in without first updating to v2.5 According to Bob, one can run v2.2 though without being forced to update.

Would be very grateful for help with this.

I put version 2.2 on rapidshare for you. To download, click on the "Free User" button and after about 30 seconds you should be able to download the file, which is about 12 MB in size. Hope it works for you.

Thanks so very much yekim!!! The download to my third computer worked very well and installation resulted in an update to v2.2 So far everything worked great. But when I logged in and tried to reach the books in the Sony store for re-downloading, the same thing happend again, i.e. the program locked up completely and was unresponsive. The only thing I could do was to ctrl-alt-delete my way out of the program This has now happend on three different PCs, two running vista and one XP, two of them with the 2.5 software and one with the 2.2. Am I the only one who keeps having these problems ?? Feel like I'm cursed for some reason

Have noticed that when starting any of the upgraded versions (both the 2.2 and the 2.5) the program halts and first de-validates my PC and then re-validates it again, before finally getting me to the e-book store. Could this possibly be the problem and if so why ??
