Anyone used Bookfusion free edition with Calibre?

I'm looking for a way of syncing my ereading between a Calibre reader on Windows 10 and my Android phone. I've come across something called BookFusion, which seems to offer this capability.
I was wondering whether anyone had used the free edition of Bookfusion, and could offer any feedback? I basically want to maintain my reading position in ePubs between my computer and my Android 10 phone.

The calibre content server does that for you automatically without needing any apps, just read in your browser. https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/vie...hlighting-text (that also applies for reading position)

I've been trying to use this, and can connect on the host Calibre machine (Windows 10) using 127.0.0.1:8081, but despite opening port 8081 on the firewall on that machine (for both inbound and outbound connections) I'm unable to connect to it from either my Android 10 phone or Android 7 tablet (using a URL of 192.168.1.5:8081 - which is the LAN address of the Calibre host).

Edit: I've also tried disabling the firewall on the Windows host machine and I still can't connect to the Calibre server from Android devices on the LAN. I can access SMB shares on the same machine from those same Android devices, so there's no basic network connectivity issue.

...and I've just noticed that, when using the Calibre web interface on the Calibre host machine, it doesn't seem to save my reading position.
For example:
- Open ebook
- Go to chapter 5
- Hit escape and click Sync
- Close browser window
- Open new browser window
- Click on the book cover under "Continue reading"
- The book opens on page 1

I don't know if it works with the free version of BookFusion, raise any queries or problems in that thread.

I've since discovered that the free version of Bookfusion has a limit on the size of files, which I hit after just 2 books, so it's not for me.
I also tried Freda, but had problems getting it to sync large books (I have one with alot of embedded photos).
It would be great to get the Calibre server working, but I have no idea why I can't access it from browsers on my Android devices.

You need to setup user accounts in the server preferences for that.
