Title Sort
How do I get Calibre to show the titles in strict alphabetical order. I tried the instruction for setting under Tweeks (# Control sorting of titles and series in the library display, title_series_sorting = 'strictly_alphabetic' ) but it didn't work (I did restart). Is the main Calibre display the "library display"?

After you applied the tweak, did you follow the instructions to update the title sort in the bulk metadata editor?
To quote the last part of the instructions for that tweak:

In addition, titles for books added before changing the flag will retain their order until the title is edited. Editing a title and hitting Enter without changing anything is sufficient to change the sort. Or you can use the 'Update title sort' action in the Bulk metadata edit dialog to update it for many books at once.

No. I guess I stopped reading and started "doing" before that part. Just did the "Update title sort" and titles are sorted as I want them. Thank you both.
