Kobo Store: "Item has changed"... but it hasn't?

Recently, I saw the dreaded "item has changed" message on one of my wishlist items and clicked through to find that it simply redirected to a slightly different url (owlflight-3 rather than owlflight-1).

While I'm glad it hasn't been removed from the site, I'm a little confused. The publisher is still the same as I remember. Does this mean the edition has changed or something?

Could be that the publisher fixed some typos and pushed out a new version of the EPUB.

Today, I got my third "Item Has Changed" notice on Wishlisted books in the last month or so. In my case, the book actually disappears from their site. The first two book re-appeared at a different url a couple of days later. The one I got today is still gone. I have no idea what Kobo is doing with this. But, it seems to be a mighty silly way to adjust a listing.

If it doesn't come back, check the book on Amazon. Most times it's happened to me, it's because the author put it into Kindle Unlimited (forcing exclusivity -- I kinda despise this).
