Y'all don't have a ready-to-go toolchain?

I had an inkling to port some dev tools to my Kindle so I could do some programming on the go. I thought it'd be only a moderate annoyance to put together a build platform.

What is even going on here? Like, yeah, I get that Amazon has made it a pain and a half. But there's not a "here, download this and you can build binaries" option?

NiLuJe, you're my <expletive> hero. I've not got your toolchain working, but I see the amount of effort that's gone into it.

Can I help build a Docker image or something to open the dev doors to more people?

Err, all of those things are already a thing?

(I mean, I don't do Docker myself, but it's been dockerized, for the KOReader images themselves first and foremost, and by various other people on barer images, IIRC).
