Is there a way that I can see the date I finished a book?
Is there a way that I can see the date I finished a book? Like being able to access a book I read a few months ago and get the date it was completed?

If the book is still on your Kindle and you have not opened it since then you can check the LPR (last position read) information which includes the last date it changed in one of the sidecar files associated with the book.
See KRDS - A parser for Kindle reader data store files for information on how to locate and decode the proper file. Just checking the last modified date of that file might also work depending on how it is updated by the Kindle. I am unsure of that. |

If you use Goodreads, you can add the date finished there. |

If you purposely make frequent bookmarks while reading, each one is a line in the MyClippings file. I go through that to record the date books were finished. Then I delete the file, once I’ve recorded what I want, so it doesn’t keep growing and growing in size.

As an alternative to checking the sidecar file, which does rely on the parser that jhowell referenced - you can do this:
