Can we load custom fonts anymore is that even a thing? If so, what fonts are you loading and using?

Yes. Just link it to your computer via USB and open the kindle drive. Create a folder called Fonts on your kindle. Then put your desired fonts into it.

Make sure you always use the Regular; Italic; Bold; Bold Italic versions of the font.

You've asked the question as though the custom fonts have suddenly become unavailable. Is this the case?

My PW3 is using old firmware; after the update to allow custom fonts, I stopped updating.

7th generation and later Kindles (including PW3) support custom fonts. I would just try it out and see which fonts you like. They should have at least the basic styles (Regular, Bold, Italic, Bold Italic).

I use ChareInk. Download the hinted unweighted version.

I like Constantia. I use it almost exclusively. I think I originally found it under the Kindle fonts link on MobileRead — but it looks like that link is dead now.

One thing ChareInk does well is that it reduces the line height if you are reading a KF8 eBook on a Kindle.
