Clara HD Kobo Uncaged with VPN

I would like to use calibre to connect to Kobo uncaged on my laptop while they are on different networks.
I have a server with a hostname and I can connect to this server with wireguard from my laptop, I enabled port forwarding for port 8081 from my router to the server, now the last thing that remains should be enabling port forwarding from the server to the laptop.
I tried
ssh -R 8081:localhost:8081 ipserver
but it does not seem work.
Do you have any suggestions?
