KOReader filenames/sort from Calibre ODPS

I have a jailbroken kindle PW5 running KOReader and connected to Calibre via the ODPS but am having issues with how the files display inside my Calibre library on the device. When I go to the library from the ODPS they are currently sorted by book title and then also show the author. I would like them be sorted by author and display the book series and number followed by title. I have updated the save template in the sending books to device portion of Calibre to:

{author_sort}/{series} {series index} - {title}

but I dont think that is the correct spot to be making that adjustment because it doesnt seem to be working. Where can I change the sorting method in KOReader to make the sorting from my Calibre library make more sense?

I think that sorting in calibre is the only way. KO reader uses file names for sorting not metadata AFAIK.
Try {author_sort}/{series}{series_index) - {title}
You may also need to put this in the configure menu when you have your kindle attached - that worked for my Fire - and decide which folder to send your books to.
Hope it works for you - I’m no expert.

Where is the configure menu?

It may only show up if you connect via usb. Also, check that it’s not being ignored by calibre in the device settings. They live under preferences.
