I am trying to convert these in both Calibre and Kindle Create.
- Words and images are moved around… - Special Fonts are lost (off and on throughout the manuscripts - Images that are misplaced have also changed size (BIGGER!) and it appears that the black border that was added in MS Word, is now a separate image. (shown in the video link below) I’m attaching an excerpt of one of the manuscripts in both the MS Word format and a PDF file. I’m also including links to two YouTube videos I made showing the problems I’m having. ANY HELP and advice would be greatly appreciated. Are there changes I can make to the original Word document that might make the conversion easier? Is there a better conversion program that might do a better job? PDF is not a good format to convert. Convert your original DOCX file.

You might want to take a look at the resources available on MobileRead. Check for posts from users such as Tex2002ans. One recent example is in the Remove blank pages thread, see message #16.
Basically, use Styles when formatting your Word DOCX documents and your conversion experience will be a lot more enjoyable. |

and if you feel that you HAVE to include a sample of copyrighted material, use the scramble plugin.
