Footnote on the wrong page

I don't know if it's Koreader, the ebook formatting or the device (libra 2), but sometimes if a footnote reference is near the bottom of the screen, the actual footnote is displayed on the following page, and not on the page where the reference is. Any ideas what could be causing this? Should I look into the formatting of footnotes? The footnotes are at the bottom of the page file, inside <aside> tags, and otherwise display correctly. Or is the issue in the way Koreader displays footnotes?

Thanks for the link, that explains it - so it's a compromise in Koreader itself, and there's nothing I can do about it, so I can just relax.
