PW4 Can't get Mesquito to Run on Paperwhite 10th Gen

I'm trying to jailbreak my Kindle Paperwhite 10th Generation. I'm running firmware 5.17.1.0.3.

I've followed the steps on kindlemodding.org but can't get past step 5. I click on a book in the store but all it ends up doing is loading the book from the store. I've done some searching but it seems like the issue with Mesquito not working is only on Firmware 5.18. Maybe I'm missing something though. Anyone have any ideas why it's not running automatically?

Try tapping the shopping cart instead of a book and see if that does anything different. Let me know what it does as I am slowly rolling the updates forward and seeing if it works myself, I am not up to 5.17.~ yet.

I have an Oasis 10th gen that had firmware version 5,14.1. During my previous jailbreak attempt, where tapping on a book worked, the kindle auto-updated to 5.17.1.0.3 after which the hotfix failed to install. When trying to jailbreak again, tapping on a book no longer worked as described by the OP.

After reading your post I tried again, and I am happy to report that tapping the shopping cart icon works. Thank you.
