Convert form Zip including Docx files to EPUB

Can Calibre convert a folder with Docx files to EPUB?
The starting state is like this

a
    1.docx
    2.docx
b
    3.docx
    b.docx
4.docx

Folder names and file names are not actually letters and numbers, but have real meaning.
I read Calibre’s User Manual and this seems to work for starting the conversion from a zip file, in this zip file I need a file like toc.html with tags for the ul/li hierarchy and the relative path of the link.
But I actually tested this solution and it only converted the first Docx file. Did I do something wrong? Or is Calibre just can not do the job?

Conversion convert *single* files. If you want to somehow merge multiple files, then either merge them first using Word or similar. Or convert each one to epub and then merge the epub files using the epubmerge plugin
