Possible to delete individual items from search history?

It's possible to delete the whole search history but is there any way to delete individual items.

They are stored in ~/.config/calibre/edit-book-history.plist, you can delete them from there, but you'll have to close all instances of the editor first.

IMV, it would be useful to be able to delete individual entries in the Find and Replace boxes. (For example, Parcellite, a Linux clipboard manager, uses Ctrl + right-click.)
