I have a question about Kindle charging

Does anybody know why it keeps showing that charging on the screen it been charging for hours and it shows a green light when it fully charged and I still cannot access anything on it and the link shows what I am talking about

The battery may be dead. Keep it charging for 24 hours at least, perhaps it will revive.

Well I plugged up this morning and left it plugged up while I was working and so far nothing has changed so I just tried to see if anything will change if I plug it up into the USB port on my computer

Looks to me like the charger isn't functioning, so using another charging device might work. Don't let your computer go to sleep while you're charging. Maybe do this while using your computer.

Otherwise, purchase another mains charger.

I have used the usb cable plugged into the adapter that I charge my kindle with and I plugged into my laptop overnight from like 10pm something till 10am something and nothing and I have charged it with 2 different power cables you plug into the wall still nothing and keep in mind it has been months since my mom has used this kindle

I had a similar thing happen to my old Sony 505. It has a wall charger with a power block, but wouldn't charge. It also wouldn't charge from the usb (but they never did this very well). So I bought a secondhand charger for the unit from ebay. This worked. I hardly ever use this reader: no frontlight, but have to top up the charge now and then.

This is mainly why I suggested getting a new charger. It's much easier to replace than the battery. Worth a try.
