How to change /tmp folder usage on Linux

I've got loads of ram so I've created a large ramdisk auto-mounted at boot. I'm going through my scripts and program config and pointing them at this, rather than /tmp. I cannot find any way of changing the fact that Calibre uses /tmp on ubuntu 21.10. Is this possible?

Why dont you just mount /tmp in RAM? In any case you want to change the temp dir for most programs on linux set the TMPDIR env var. That will work for calibre too. And if you want a calibre specific env var look in https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/cus...ment-variables
