In which folder are OTA updates downloaded?
Hi. I have a question: in which folder are OTA updates downloaded? Is there any way to retrieve the firmware file before the update? Obviously the device must already be rooted to access the system folders. Thanks

Usually it's loaded directly to /sdcard. It will delete it once it's used.
You can also just download the update directly (onto your desktop or wherever) if you like.

Hi Renate. Ok, so it's loaded directly to /sdcard. The problem is that now is available version the 3.2.1 (1.4GB, so I think that also the boot file has been updated), but only via OTA. That's why I was wondering if it was possible to capture the latest firmware file before updating the device. Thanks for your reply :-)
