Scroll Mode in Onyx Boox
For PDFs, in scroll mode, when we push the page up/down buttons (or when tapping) how much the page goes up/down? Does the new page overlap with what we have already read or start from where we left off? I don't want to try to find where is the last line I've read.
BTW, please don't mention dotted line option. It's useless for me because since I use fit to width option, that line becomes invisible to me. |

I presume that your context is the NeoReader (a/k/a kreader.apk)?
Yeah, it's a tough one one with Eink and sudden paging. The best would be if the display would have a line or two from the previous page but slightly grayed. Unfortunately, dividing a page into screens means that the overlap is not necessarily fixed adding to the confusion. Even on LCD devices scrolling without losing your place is hard. I have an app for song lyrics when I perform and it would kill me to do it on Eink. I'd like to mention the dotted line option. I have no idea what it is but it appears to annoy you. ![]() |

Yes, I mean NeoReader...
In KOReader, we have 2 beautiful options. 1) In the single page mode, when we scroll down, the overlapping part greys out. 2) In continuous mode, it exactly starts with the last line we read. You may say "go with KOReader than!"... Sure I can. Just curious about the capabilities of NeoReader |

I find that even with regular epubs, a page flip often leads me to, "huh, what was the first part of that?" and I have to click back, then forwards.

On my Nova 2, with newspapers and magazines, i sometime use acrobat reader instead of neoreader.
Once in a page you can easily continuous scroll or zoom with fingers |
