Insert Hyperlink: Can't delete text in "Template" field
For some reason, there is some text in the Template field of the "Insert Hyperlink" dialogue which cannot be deleted. Every time I open the dialogue, it appears and I have to delete it in order to add a hyperlink.
How did it get there? And how do I delete it permanently so that the field is clear when I open the "Insert Hyperlink" window. |

The template is what controls what is actually inserted. Dont delete it.

OK, I think I understand it now. The template only changes when you edit it. So changing it to "<a href="_TARGET_">_TEXT_</a>" gives the desired result in this case. However, there is absolutely nothing about the" Insert Hyperlink" dialogue in the manual, and the pop-up in the dialogue itself is only really useful as a reminder for the experienced user.
So, could a fuller explanation be added to the manual? ![]() |
