Book details popup window: Can't send to device with keyboard shortcut

With cover browser popup window I can send to device with a keyboard shortcut, but it doesn't work with book details popup window.

Is that a bug? Or has it never been possible?

No, it has never been possible. Sending to device is sufficiently complicated that implementing it for a single book (as opposed to all selected books) was ever worth the effort.
