I always install AndroSearch that's an internal search engine autoindexing all text content inside files (epub, pdf, whatever).

As the air c is rather new, how do you feel about the screen compared to a standard b/w one?
Is it possible to use it in a standard lighted room with device-light turned off ?

You can read text with the light turned off but the screen background is darker than the screen of the regular nova.

You can increase text size and/or increase contrast will help a bit but the darker screen (without the frontlight) is definitely noticeable.

I've been using Librera Reader. I found it nicer than KOReader on this device.

I am on Max Lumi 1 and advise anyone to checkout
eReader Prestigio. It has the best visuals and good features like neural voice reader.

It's the closest reader app I've seen with a polished Android UI ...(Apple like)book shelf etc.
