images not in colour - epubs

Using KO reader on an e-ink Boox Nova 3 colour (android 10). The images in the epubs are not rendered in colour unless I long press on them. Is there a setting somewhere that changes this.

You could try settings → screen → color rendering.

On my smartphone (android 11) that option does appear, but it is not showing on the e-ink device (Boox Nova 3 color - android 10).
KOreader version arm-v2022.01
Any ideas?

It is a known limitation of our code.

Android devices flagged as eink are treated as without color. Your device was added to the list recently, gaining correct epd updates and loosing color.

Will fix it when I have a moment. In the mean time you can downgrade to previous stable releases to revert the new behaviour (gain color, no full epd updates each n pages)

Should be fixed with https://github.com/koreader/android-...ncher/pull/354 and https://github.com/koreader/koreader/pull/8717.

Wait a couple of days until it gets merged and try a nightly afterwards.
