kepub conversion on an older computer?

I have an old machine (till it gets replaced maybe middle this year) that runs win 7 64bit, so have calibre 3.48 (last supported version). Was able to install Davidfor's Kobotouch348 plugin (have a libra 2) so I can transfer ebooks via calibre (yay!), but I'm not able to convert to kepub, at least I don't see that option showing up in the menu for conversions.

Was curious if there's an old version of a plugin that might be compatible somewhere? I don't really know much about coding, but I can troubleshoot more basic stuff on my own if it something doesn't quite work. And I'm able to edit the files and rezip them. I don't know if there's a way to test plugins without making changes, rezipping, and reinstalling.

I did find kepubify and tested it out on a book, so I have a means at least. I was just curious if I could do this via calibre. The difference between epub and kepub is pretty significant on the kobo! I was surprised.

If you check GitHub you can find previous releases. You might need to create the zip yourself. See https://github.com/jgoguen/calibre-kobo-driver/releases
