KOReader on a Tolino Tab 8" (Android 4.4.2 X86)?

Just wondering if KOReader will work on 4.4.2 X86-based (Intel Atom) Android. Did anyone ever try it on a Tolino Tab 8"?

Reason being, I will get a Tab 8" very soon and would probably like to use KOReader on that platform.

It should work on any device with 4.0+

But we whitelisted all tolinos as eink devices, so you won't get color or fast panning rate out of the box. That's not a problem as you can follow https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/8482 to get device properties so we can remove that specific device from the list.

Also a bit unrelated but seems a very bad idea to use a tablet with kitkat nowadays for online contents. AFAIK there're no safe browsers targetting kitkat

Re Tolinos: There were three Tolinos using non-e-ink screens: Tolino 7", Tolino 8.9" and their successor, the Tolino 8" (built by Trekstor). I’ll only get the 8" but I’ll happily provide whatever is needed after I’ve got the device and set it up.

Re online: I’m aware of that, thanks. But this tablet will mainly be used to e-read, plus control my Home Assistant and Logitech Media Server (both in local network), so it should (hopefully) not be too much of a problem using that old device.

My personal x86 testing device is my old Zenfone 2 on Android 6.0. So in any case I can confidently confirm it works on x86.

In principle it should also work on 4.4.2 x86.
