Calibre sends my ebooks in a folder with the author's name
Hello.
I changed recently my hard drive and i had to install calibre again, but now when I send the ebooks to my reader or when I save to my computer calibre put my ebook inside a folder with the name of the author. It's tedious beause each time I have to copy and past my ebook- if anybody knows what to do for calibre to send or save just the ebook without a folder please let me know. I've tried in configuration but I don's see anything |

What possible difference could it make? And if you are moving your files outside of Calibre, you are corrupting your Calibre library. |

I'm guessing the OP means the "save to disk" feature. When you right-click on the icon, there are several options. Also there is a template in the settings indicating how Calibre saves the books. The OP may have had a different template on their previous computer.

Thanks for the answers. I don't know if I'm explain it well. I send my ebooks to the kindle through calibre and then I save them in my computer too. And before I had to install it new calibre sent just the ebook and save to my computer just the ebook. Now it creates a folder with the author name and the ebook and cover inside. To search a book it's tedious and sometimes if I don't extract the ebook my kindle didn't recognice it.
