Problem with CBZ/CBR
I have a Kobo Libra H20, and trying to read comincs with it. The problem is that in the reader every single jpg appears like a single book in the library.
I create the cbr file compressing the folder that contains every jpg properly renamed 001, 002 etc. After that put it directly in the root directory. I've also tried to convert the cbz to epub using calibre but the same thing happens, every single jpg photo inside the cbz or epub appears like one book. So I end having more than a thousand books every one being one page of the comic... Can anyone help please?? Thanks! |

Problem with CBZ/CBR
What do you mean by “root directory”? All I do to read manga is to either transfer it over via Calibre or drag the CBZ file onto the mounted KOBOEREADER volume.
It’s odd that Kobo would unpack the CBR file. Are you certain the files aren’t unpacked on your Kobo in a directory? I have seen markups treated as separate files on my Elipsa, however, when the database is corrupt. Maybe you need to step back a bit. Clean things up. Delete the cruft. Repair your account. Make sure things are working. Then try again. If it keeps misbehaving, you might be looking at a corrupt database and need to reset you Kobo. Technically, all you have to do is copy the CBZ or CBR file to your KOBOEREADER volume, then boot her up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

How did you compress the file? Most likelly something went wrong in the compression
Compress to zip (using normal windows resourse) and change the extension. That is all. |

Adding toy previous
The extension should follow the type of compression Zip - CBZ Rar - CBR Using windows directly should result in zip, so CBZ On a side note, have you considered the windows aplication "kindle comic converter"? (Works for manga output, regardless of reader) Doesnt have the kobo libra for preset but you can define the target resolution. You pick the folder and it outputs the file ready to go for the reader |
