Hi there, I am trying to understand what has happened to my device.
I have factory reset the device after a very one-way dialogue with Onyx Support and this is now showing up on my device: (Chinese Translation) For security reasons, The device has been locked! If you have logged in to your ONYX account, please log in to the same account on the web or BOOX assistant app. Of-bound device, Unlock by yourself; If you have not logged into your ONYX account, please contact us (purchase certificate required Ming): support@boox.com Model: Note3 MAC: (*************) The network is not connected You need to turn on the network to unlock the device, please turn on Wi-Fi BOOX Is there anything to do? I have the latest firmware downloaded from Onyx (update.upx) and have some experience rooting Android Phones but am stuck on what can be done to get this up and running again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! |
