Editor Short Cut Key (SCK)

1. Is there a SCK to just Close the open book? Ctrl-Q quits the Editor completely. Ctrl-W seems to be the most common SCK to just close a file

2. Are there SCKs to go to the next / prev tab displayed in the edit window?

adventure-02.xhtml --> adventure-03.xhtml --> adventure-04.xhtml --> adventure-05.xhtml --> epub_55.css --> adventure-01.xhtml ..... and the other way?

I can see 'Edit next file' (Ctrl+Alt+Down) and 'Edit previous file' (Ctrl+Alt+Up) but they bring a file in from File Browser, not the tabs over the edit window

1. Well, sometimes when I'm done editing Book 1, I want to just close it and go to Book 2. If I had thought it through, just opening Book 2 would close (offering to Save).

I was used to applications like Excel where you can have multiple files open at the same time and close just 1.

You're right -- since the Editor is one book at a time, a Close Book is not needed.

2. They were not in the Preferences, Shortcut Keys so I didn't realize you could do that

Each editor instance is one book at a time. But, the editor can be opened multiple times with different books. Or the same one for that matter.

Ctrl+O will open a new book, the editor won't allow it if the current book is 'dirty'.
