Linux 5.32 can't send email

These settings work on Windows but fail on Linux.

there is no difference in the email sending code on windows and linux. According to that error attempts to connect to the mail server are return a code of -1 instead of 200, causing the failure. Why that might be, I have no clue.

You are connecting to an IMAP server instead of SMTP one. Check your settings.
