Backlight automatically turns off
Hi all,
I have a Kindle Voyage which I managed to jailbreak recently. However, I have noticed that the backlight on the device turns off automatically when there is a change in the level of ambient light in the room. I have checked under the "Frontlight" setting in the Options (top - the one which looks like a gear cog) menu and there is no option to turn on or off auto backlight. Is there any way around this issue? I have even updated the Koreader to a later version (koreader-kindlepw2-v2021.10) and am still facing the same issue. Any help or inputs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

IIRC (and I may be wrong), no one ever bother to handle the ALS on those devices, so, your best bet is probably to just disable the ALS entirely in the stock system before starting KOReader (if one can even do that?).
