want to delete multiple words at once in epub

Hello All Respected Friends
i am sorry if i did anything wrong in this post

i have pdf files where is included jpg images but there is image file name in every image's bottom which i want to delete while converting in epub

i read full tutorial of regular expression but i cannot understand how can i add command which can delete all image file names. every image have different name but all image names are starting with "image-" and end with ".jpg"
For example:
image-FFCP01SE.jpg
image-TR4Q31P1.jpg
image-UIG64GS0.jpg
image-TR4Q31P1.jpg

i want to delete these all names at once

kindly help me to solve this issue

REGEX

Code:

image-.+?\.jpg

Note I escaped the dot before jpg because I want it as part of the pattern
dot (period) is a wild card normally

Also note: this will get ALL with that pattern, so be absolutely sure before using replace all (IMHO it is better to use Replace-Next and not worry about wearing out the mouse button)

how can i check epub file pages total numbers in calibre ?

Reader app on What? Calibre has its Viewer for PC's.
For portable devices YMMV

Pages. ebooks don't have Pages as they allow users to change font sizes (reflow)

But for an 'estimate' (based on chosen rule),The Count Pages Plugin
(Preferences: Get Plugins if not installed)

i am getting a issue while converting pdf to epub
mostly images are showing in wrong place in epub file

That is a feature

of PDF. The source is not Linear, and things can end up out of place/order.

IMHO Stick to PDF for these (books with diagrams-charts) as conversion can get really ugly
