Question 'Recent' sorting not working...I really relied on that!
Would anyone know how I can fix this?

Usually in the standard Kobo interface you can sort books by RECENT.

From memory this puts at the top BOTH:
- books recently added
- books recently read.

I found this VERY handy. I used it ALOT.

But lately it doesn't seem to be working properly, showing books I added or opened ages back.

Any ideas?

The Recent sort appears to work correctly here. There is an occasional book from Kobo that turns up not were I am expecting it, or, using multiple devices confusing me. But, when I check, they seem to be correct.

Have you checked the clock on the device? It should sync when WiFi turns on, but, if you don't use WiFi, it might not be correct. And that can cause some interesting things.

Feels like I'm piling on but I haven't seen any issues with the recent sort other than with the occasional book synched from Kobo.

Have you checked the date and time on your Kobo? If the books sticking to the top were last opened when your kobo was *forward* dated, you can open those books again to reset their last opened date/time.

Also, if you connected to kobo to PC to add books, be sure to try rebooting the Kobo. Due to recent firware bugs, it's very likely that the Kobo has lost connection to it's database and is no longer able to updated it until re-started.
