Calibre on macbookpro

Just installed calibre on my new mac and used it to find book in library by chosing author on tag menu. It worked just fine. When I was done I could not get it to return to the tag menu. It wouldn't move. Anyone know what I should do. First time I have a mac.

I don't think that's a problem with the mac, this works like a charm on my M1.
