Adapt Calibre to better use with touchscreen

Hi to all!
I'm using calibre on my old 10" tablet.
I'm running it using a debian testing distro which runs on the tablet using LinuxDeploy and using bVNC to see the desktop.
This is the image of calibre running on the 10" device:

I would like to know if it is possible to modify some graphical aspect of the GUI so that to improve the usability with the touchscreen.
Specifically it is pretty impossible to select those left "triangles" on the left side (to select authors and so on) and also the cursor bars on the right and on the bottom are very difficult to select.
Is it possible to increase the dimensions of those graphical components anyhow?

Moreover in case I buy a 2 in 1 windows pc, is it better to take a bigger one (12" or 13")? Anyone have experience with using calibre on a 2 in 1 using the touchscreen?

I use Calibre occasionally on my 12" Surface Pro. With the Surface Pen it's ok. I've never even tried to navigate with my fingers.

The calibre GUI is not designed for use with fingers. If you want to use calibre on a finger based device, use the calibre content server, which has a UI specifically designed for this.
