The never ending saga

I've had my final laser treatment on blood vessels in my retinas (probably 8 sessions or so across both eyes, cataract surgery on both eyes (Right eye in January 2021, Left eye late 2019), only to learn today there is swelling in my right retina and that will require injections to treat.

All this on top of wearing an orthotic boot on my left foot and lower leg to combat Charcot foot which is related to diabetes and neuropathy.

All i can say is if there is a history of diabetes in your family do take care of yourself.

I hope you are doing OK with the injections. That sounds scary.

Thanks. Still have a few weeks before that process starts.

At least this week I got my new CROW boot (think of a black, moulded to fit, removable cast that goes from foot to just below the knee), and so far adjustment to it has gone well.
