Epub page count in koreader ?

I was wondering if there would be a way to make koreader count pages a way more closely to the real book.
I've been playing with it and didn't find an option for this.

EPUBs are not organized around pages, but documents. Usually they have one document per chapter. Some of them have the page numbers encoded within <span> tags and KOReader displays these on the right border. If your EPUB doesn't, there is nothing you can do.

Which might be why the OP doesn't consider them to be "real books". There is also the issue of different editions of the "real" books having different page numbers anyway, and how to choose which one of THOSE is "real" and which are "unreal".

Ohh, sorry to hear that, but I very much liked koreader, so I think I'll get used to read in a different way, I'm beginning to appreciate the progress bar i.e

I'm sorry you don't think eBooks are real books. Reading ePub with RMSDK will give you the closest page numbering to a pBook you'll get without using page-map to map page numbers to some pBook edition.
