About the number of pages in recent books

Hello,
Recently used calibre for almost a month.
I love the function "read aloud", it allows me to listen to books like podcast.
I have two questions to ask.

1.Could calibre display the page or percentage read in the custom field?

ex :
recent pages/max pages => 22/300
percentage => 35%

2.Could calibre show the recently read books? sorting by reading or opening time

I'd love to find a solution.

Yes, if you make a custom column and use the Count Pages plugin.

"Count Pages" Plugin make me seem to have opened the door to a new world.

I tried for a while and found that format .pdf can correctly count the number of pages, but format .epub will change with the page size, and it seems that only the total number of pages or words can be calculated.

Is there any other plugin that can display "positopn in book(recently read)" in ebook viewer on the list(Add your own columns)?

#position is not an Industry standard. (come on manufacturing folk, e readers have been mainstream for a DECADE It is time to make these thing work the way MOST users use them)

It only applies if you use the same brand viewer (if THAT allow sync).
In addition, that info is/may not available to Calibre upon connection.

I can understand why Kovid did not put too much effort into making ebook-viewer provide that. It only would work with that viewer.

Slightly OT
I always wanted some sort of GoTo in editor Plugins that would allow me to enter a specific Brands location (eg Kindles LOC) and have it jump to that spot (fixing an error I spotted while reading )

That's it.I only found the 2015 post.

Kovid said that is a CFI identifier.

It is stored in a config file, with optionally a copy stored inside the epub file itself (when you are reading epub). And there is no progress information stored. What is stored is a last read bookmark, which is a CFI identifier, not a percent read.
At least I find recently read book.
Thanks you everyone
