I cannot remember precisely but I do recall the process taking longer than I expected. I relied on shipping notification via email rather than the website. Each time I have ordered devices they seem to stall at customs for two days.

Thanks for the reply. I did get an order confirmation email and I can understand delays in shipping. But the order not even showing up in their Order Status system after 4 days is a bit irksome (they had no problem charging my credit card instantly upon ordering). I did a chat with them and they say the order is being processed. Hopefully, I'll get a shipping confirmation email sometime soon.

I guess it depends on where you are. I happen to be in Canada and received my kobo within 3 days after placing my order ever thought the website claims it’ll take up to seven to ten days.

One thing to remember is that the ereader store is separate from the ebook store--If I remember you have to log in on the ereader store page and there should be a status button on the page. When i order my kobo back in February my card would not work had to use PayPal. My card does not work for foreign payment processors.

You have to copy paste you order number from you confirmation email--it will take a few days to show especially if you order on a Friday.

I received a confirmation email on 02_26_2021.
A shipment on the way email on 03_03_2021.
My Kobo arrived on 03_08_2021.

The timeline you provided matches my experience with orders. I do remember the gap between order confirmation and shipment notification (to the US).

Thanks all for the information. I just got my shipping notification email (5 days after ordering), so that's good. They're estimating delivery 6 days from now. I think that's just about the time they guessed at when I placed the order.

Oddly, the order still doesn't show up on their Order Status page.

One thing also about ordering from Kobo if you're located in the U.S. - I got hit with an international transaction fee from my bank. A little annoying, and made the price a bit higher than what I was expecting, but something to keep in mind.

Don't order from Kobo. Order from Chapters. You get the conversion from CAD to USD. Yes you have to pay S/H but when I ordered my H2O, I paid less then I would have if I ordered from Kobo.

Or you can order from Walmart if that helps for the price. But you might have to pay sales tax.

I ordered a Libra H2O from Kobo last Sunday and it arrived this past Wednesday. Very quick. I live in Ohio. I remember when I ordered my Clara and the Glo HD, both also arrived very quickly. I’ve either been very lucky, or my location is a good one for Kobo to respond quickly to my orders or maybe most people get theirs pretty quickly and only a few complain?
