Since you already have the T68, why not just watch some video reviews of the Poke 3 in action to see how it compares?
I would suggest My Deep Guide on YouTube for in-depth reviews of various ereaders, including the Poke 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHA3X5CYsbQ However, there are plenty of other video reviews out there which will give you an idea of how the Poke 3 performs under various circumstances. You can then compare that to your experience with the T68. |

hi I did just watch the video, there was no information/video on the actually performance of the poke 3 when reading epub in a 25 minute video.
he did refer us to watch poke 2 video which did have that info, so I am assuming that the poke 3 is even smoother. |

Maybe that will help:
The Pokes have about a 20x performance increase over Cortex A9 in terms of CPU. I myself have a Kepler Pro (in a basement shelf) that has the same equipment as T68 except for the screen size - it is slow compared to the Pokes 2/3 |

The Poke is much faster. Also, the screen is much more sensitive. The T68 is a nice reader, but was horribly let down by an insensitive touch screen and a light that is too bright.

Yes, I have both. The Poke 1 is far in advance of the T68. The Poke 3 will be even faster.

just received the Poke 3, after about 1 hour of playing around, quick impression
pro against T68 1: def much smoother that T68, so far all touches are registered with accuracy. 2: more portable 3. USB C 4. Flush screen and better overall looking. 6. Lighter, better for standing/walking Cons against T68 1: No buttons at all (except power button) 2: Battery life seem to be worse than T68. 3. Can not be taken out of the case, it is stick to the case?! 4. Not rubberised feel like T68, more chance of dropping if used without case. 5. No SD card support 6. No headphone jack 7. Smaller screen, worse for sitting/long session 8. very important to who read while listening audiobooks, worse search function out of all the reader I have so far. I'll explain later So far, I think the T68 is still a better reading device if 1. you have a large vocabulary or if you prefer to used another device to look up words. 2. you read for long period at a time due to (seemly) better battery life and larger screen 3. you have a desk/table and are seated because T68 is bigger and heavier 4. you are older and require a larger font. Yeah, battery probably smaller. Messing around installing apps etc uses a lot of battery. Just reading uses less. Also turn on battery saver mode. If you tap the top screen menu, there a battery icon. It freezes all background apps.
