Cannot erase ink over template lines after firmware update

Hi everyone,
I own an Onyx Boox Note 3. All was well until the recent firwmware.
Now after updating the device to the latest firmware, the erasing does not work properly.
Basically anything that I write on a note can be erased EXCEPT anything that overlaps with the lines of the template below.
I hope you understand what I mean, the ink that overlap any line belonging to the template cannot be erased.
The only way to do this is to refresh the note, which is not an acceptable solution.
Anyone has the same problem?
Also anyone has a solution?

It is erased it just doesn't show as erased because the screen hasn't refreshed and it doesn't bother making parts formally covered by ink a lighter grey. If you flip pages or export the note you'll see it's not there anymore.

It did not behave like that with the previous firmware.

Surely it is not expected.

I'm not sure it's the same behaviour, i've got a Nova 2.
With latest fw if i erase upon a template, for instance a squared sheet, i can definitely see where the drawing was touching the template until i do a refresh.
Doesn't bother me, but it was new.
I did notice that this effect is not present if i'm in A2 mode
