Moon+ : Where are settings stored?

So I have a question regarding where moon reader stores configuration data for the app. I have a very specific use case that I'm hoping to solve via Tasker. Here's the deal:

I'm luck enough to have my work provide my cellphone and I'm lucky enough that my boss agreed to get me a Fold 3. Absolutely love the phone. During my commute I have moon reader open for my book and multitask for my music player and have my messages window open too. So slick... During this time I don't use my volume button to turn pages, instead using my thumb. Ideally I'd like to have volume control for adjusting my music.

At night when I typically read a bit before going to sleep I have my phone closed and read on the outside screen as it's easier to hold when I'm lying on my side. During this time I typically DO use the volume keys for turning pages.

Now, obviously I could go into setting and change this when I need to, but who has time for complicated things like taking 60 seconds to make a chance when there's a possibility of over engineering a solution? What I'm hoping is that moon reader stores settings or configuration somewhere in a file. What I'll do then is setup my configuration with the volume keys as page turners... copy that file, then setup a configuration with the volume keys not in use. If I can do this and I think I can use Tasker to "swap" the configuration files based on time. At 9pm I'll swap in the config with the volume keys. At 5am I'll swap in the config without the volume keys.

So... anyone know where that config file is??

I believe you'll need root, but they're stored in /data/data/com.flyersoft.moonreaderp/shared_prefs/options1002.xml on mine.
