M96 battery replacement
HAllo,

I have an M96 Onyx boox device around 6 years old.

The battery has somehow so degraded that the usability of device is severly reduced (very small use time before battery goes to 0).
Otherwise everything works ok (I think Andorid 4 or something is there, I havent updated lately cause everything works and I didnt want to mess up anything).

Is there some way to replace the battery or to send the device somewhere for battery replacement (and what would be the cost) ? I live in Germany.

Don't have any experience with their after sales service, but buying from them is a pleasure, have bought all my Onyx devices from them.

Boox recommended a company that repairs their equipment to me: FIXIT SA

I would suggest you read the old threads about battery replacement for the M92 and M96. The back cover can be removed. There are screws at the bottom of the device. If you can find the right replacement for the battery, you could have it done locally.
