Best Waterproof Case for Onyx Boox?

I enjoy taking a bath, and reading, and preferably writing some as well.

I already bought the 4smarts Seashell, thinking it had a clear hard glass surface, but in fact it only had a ultra-thin soft plastic surface, thinner than a grocery bag.

So I've been looking around for another. This is the closest I've come to something useful

https://www.ebay.com/itm/kwmobile-Cu...f/293967327859

So if you have ever had a Waterproof Case for any tablet really, if you have recommendations, then please do chime in

A lot of people put their e-readers in a ziploc bag while bathing.

Appreciated. I bought a Overboard Waterproof pouch today, and will see how that goes. If I had access to a plastic vacuum machine, I'd actually be curious to give that a go. But will see with the Universal Overboard Waterproof pouch when it arrives.

Got the waterproof pouch today, and so far so good: I can use the stylus on the Onyx thru the pouch, the tablet fits nicely and the transparancy is good. Not perfect but good. The case looks tight and secure, and later I'll try it in water to see. Will do a submerge test with paper inside it first.

IMHO, that bag looks to make holing the Reader uncomfortable.I think it's time to give up reading in the tub and take a quick shower to get back to reading.

Impressed the stylus works through it.

Haha. Nah. Never!

I haven't tried it yet, but I always rest the reader on my chest. Only niggle now is getting good enough ambient lighting. I enjoy lying in the tub for a long time, and I enjoy reading and together they're perfect. You ought to stop the quick showers and get in the tub!

Agreed. I too balance it on my chest. When I start to fall asleep, I have to catch it I don't use a ziploc bag. But mine is an older model. If it was brand new, I might be more prudent.

Having a bath can be expensive. if you pay for the amount of water you use, that's not cheap and you have to pay for the energy used to heat all that water. So (IMHO) a bath can be too expensive.

Expensive, but worth it. Me and Dalton are waiting for you, and welcoming you to the club—any time you're ready.

Excellent points. How and ever, you neglected to consider the potential cost benefits from the therapeutic effects of baths.

Life can be stressful, particularly in uncertain times such as those brought about by a global pandemic. Stress has been shown to be a significant contributing factor to many diseases such as heart disease. Thus, relieving stress might reduce one's chances of developing such diseases. What price is your health worth to you? How much does it cost society to look after those who are ill?

Stress can also negatively impact one's social relationships. If you're a hermit, that might not matter just so much. However, for most others, relationships are pretty important. How do you put a price tag on that? How much does it cost society when relationships break down?

Counting your pennies as the time counts down on your shower might save you a few pennies, but cost you a lot more. Penny wise, pound poor as the saying goes.

The last bath I took was when we live din a townhouse and the gas and waster was included in the rent. So it didn't cost any extra to bathe. But one other thing to not about having a bath. The dirt from your body gets in the water and you end up sitting in dirty water. Then you'll need to have a shower after the bath.

I don't get stressed much and a bath would not help. Also, we don't have a bathtub. I prefer a shower. I like the type of shower-head where I can change the way the water comes out.
